Pat Kearns - "Serenades was the first real band record. It's the first record that had a solid lineup. We had been touring. There was a concept to the artwork. It wasn't an afterthought."

Mike Lewis - "The whole time I just kept thinking, 'Shit, this is pretty good.'"

Kelly Simmons - "It's the first real band record even though it's the fourth Blue Skies record. It was full steam ahead from here. I remember hearing the demo that Pat did on cassette 4-track of Siouxsie Please Come Home and getting really excited. It has some of my favorite tunes of any of our records."

Paul Noel - "This was my first record with Blue Skies. It's the first time I've been involved in the entire recording process from basic tracking through mixing. I really felt like a contributing memeber of the band and a closer bond to the fellas."
